These courses are customized for the needs of educational institutions wishing to enhance or develop a career development knowledge and practice in their organization.  Dr. Pritchard brings over 20 years working with education systems. This  perspective is coupled with an indepth knowledge of career development, its educational applications, and business relations.  She has also been awarded the title of Master Trainer and NCDA Fellow.

Working with a team, Dr. Pritchard was the lead designer of NCDA's School Career Development Advisor training format and elearning system.  In addition, she had significant input into the Certified School Career Development Advisor credential.  She is an NCDA School Career Development Advisor and Facilitating Career Development Instructor.  She has provided these trainings for school counselors, CTE professionals, and career advisor/specialists.  

Dr. Pritchard can offer NCDA's FCD training or NCDA's SCDA trainings as stand alones or as one integrated course.   The trainings can be delivered entirely remotely or in a combination of media (face to face, remote, and elearning).  Any course will be supported by a robust elearning resource with additional materials and tools for application with students or parents  

Completion of the Facilitating Career Development training qualifies an individual to apply for CCE's Global Career Development Facilitator and NCDA's Certified Career Services Provider.  Completion of the FCD and SCDA trainings qualifies an individual to apply for NCDA's Certified School Career Development Advisor.

This training is designed for individuals working in the Kindergarten to Grade 12 sector or with youth in another setting. They work in these primary areas:   student career education and advising, working with business and industry as the school’s key point of contract, and organizing career related events such as career days, job fairs, company tours, or internship/externships.  

This course includes NCDA's Facilitating Career Development and School Career Development Advisor Trainings.  Completion of the course qualifies a person to apply for these credentials:

  • From Center for Credentialing and Education - Global Career Development Facilitator
  • From NCDA - Certified Career Service Provider
  • From NCDA - Certified School Career Development Advisor

Depending on an individual's background, a learner may qualify for other credentials.   

In addition, this course is designed for individuals who desire a general practice, inclusive of K-12 but including other settings. Often individuals who are in private practice or career consultant find this course helpful.
